What is Butler?

Butler is a home management service that provides housekeeping, property management, concierge service, and butler services for apartment residents. All services can be requested on a regular basis or as needed.

Our signature service is general housekeeping. However, we also offer optional add-on services as well as other services for apartment residents. Please see Services for Apartment Residents for more information.

How do I sign up for Butler?

Is Butler available in my area?

Butler is currently servicing a number of districts in Singapore. To find out if your residence is in one of our areas, please reach out to us via the registration form, or email us at hello@getbutler.com and we will be happy to assist.

What is included in general housekeeping?

General housekeeping includes:
• General wiping and dusting around the house.
• Dishwashing (up to 1 sink load)
• Toilet hygiene maintaining
• Arrangement and delcuttering
• Clearing Trash bins

For daily housekeeping, you can also choose a daily focus, such as vaccuming and mopping, balcony care, and bedsheets changing. For more information, please check out our Services for Apartment Residents page.

Who are the housekeepers?

Our housekeepers are carefully selected after going through stringent screening by our experienced trainers and service experts. They are mostly Singaporeans, PR, LTVP and Malaysian, with at least 2 years and above housekeeping work experience.

Do I get to choose my housekeeper?

While you may indicate preferences for your designated housekeeper, all our housekeepers go through the same training and are educated on the same standards. We do not discriminate against any race, gender, or the like. Additionally, we pre-plan daily work schedules for our housekeepers to maintain a high level of efficiency, so as to keep costs low, as well as our ability to continue providing affordable service.

When does my housekeeper visit?

Once you liaise with our sales team and have received the necessary information, the housekeeper will visit your home at the scheduled day and time.

Are Butler’s housekeepers pet friendly?

Most of our housekeepers are pet friendly. We will be able to assign a pet friendly housekeeper, as our HR managers check with each housekeeper during their interview.

Do I have to provide cleaning products?

No. Our housekeepers will bring the cleaning products to your residence. However, if you are more comfortable using your own cleaning products, please inform the housekeeper or our concierge team before the start of service.

What is the cancellation policy?
What if my housekeeper is unavailable?

We always have a secondary housekeeper ready, who has been made aware of your preferences.

What if I am travelling? Can I pause my service?

Yes. You can resume service once you are back, and we will push back your billing cycle in the meanwhile.

How can the housekeepers access my residence if I am not around?

You can either:
1. Provide us with your keys, which will safely be delivered to our housekeeper.
2. Leave your keys at the concierge for the housekeeper to come collect and return them whenever she does housekeeping.
